V.37 Patch Release & Changelog


First off I'd just like to give a big thank you to everyone who has played Hollow since it's release two weeks ago during the Halloween HPS1jam. I was certainly surprised by the amount of downloads, and how much player feedback I've received in such a short time. I'm honestly so happy this little experience has resonated with a bunch of you, and it's certainly made me anxious to continue working on the game. 

And so on that note, here is the first major patch for Hollow, which includes all sort of bug fixes, environmental changes based on player feedback, new effects, items, events and conversations, and a host of other things. Important to note is this is not a story update, if you've played the previous release, the story, while tweaked and rewritten in places, has remained unchanged. What this update offers is a much more polished experience (hopefully) than what was released during the Halloween #HPS1Jam, and a closer sneak peak at the future of the game as work continues on the second act. 

Thanks again to everyone who has already given Hollow a play, and for all the amazing feedback. Looking forward to continuing work and releasing a story update hopefully before Christmas. If you get a chance and you enjoy the game, please consider leaving a comment and rating on itch, since it helps bring more eyes to the project.   • Dialogue tweaks / minor story rewrite 
  • New portrait expressions for Alison/June
  • Minor environmental tweaks to improve exploration in Farm region, including new models
  • Added 'unlock' inventory to allow player to keep track of collectable items such as notes, etc.

  • Collider changes, removed smaller colliders for ease of movement (rocks, etc) changed certain colliders that allowed progression breaking.
